I am a MS student in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electric and Computer Engineering at University of Southern California, advised by Prof. Zaijun Chen. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Nankai University with a GPA of 3.87/4.0, ranking in the top level of my graduating year. I graduated Summa Cum Laude as one of the Outstanding Graduates (Top 1%).
My current research is primarily focused on optical neural networks , aiming to exploring how components in ultralow-energy analog computing, AI/ML acceleration hardware, interconnects, and distributed computing systems operate under consistent principles. Additionally, I have extensive experience with cold atom experiments, particularly in the areas of emergent phenomena and non-equilibrium dynamics in many-body systems with strong correlations, and I have a keen interest in learning different algorithms.
